Oregon’s Willamette Valley is defined by its wildly different topography, with volcanic mountains dotting the horizon to the east and the great Pacific coastal range extending to the west. We typically harvest our Oregon fruit before our neighbors to preserve lower tannin and alcohol levels, leading to richly layered wines with brightness and acidity. 2015 in the northern Willamette Valley of Oregon enjoyed another year of dry, warm weather from summer to fall, creating the foundation for a beautiful vintage. The increased sun exposure resulted in rich, dense color and concentrated flavor. The quality of our Oregon fruit is always exceptional, typically marking the end of harvest as it arrives at the winery.
