2016 began with a mild winter but surprised us with plentiful rains in late spring, a welcome break from the dry winters of the last few years. Budbreak arrived early in March, with verasion beginning in mid-July. Harvest began early in mid-August as fruit reached ideal maturity with beautiful complexity and tannin structure.
